Cimencam is Cameroon's oldest and long-dominant cement producer, holding a near-monopoly from 1963 until competitors entered from the 2010s onward. It is majority-owned by the Lafarge/Holcim group, with a significant minority stake held by the Société Nationale d’Investissement, the State's investment vehicle.
