Former names : EDC
EDC is the State's asset-holding company for Cameroon's major reservoir dams, distinct from Eneo, which generates and sells the electricity. It holds an exclusive concession to build, manage and regulate stored waters, and collects fees from downstream power producers.

Key facts
- A convention signed 7 September 2020 gives EDC the exclusive concession over the Bamendjin, Lom Pangar, Mapé and Mbakaou dams, with fees collected from Eneo (source: ecomatin, 2020-09-08).
- Thanks to the Lom Pangar dam, EDC guarantees 170 MW of hydraulic capacity a year to the Song Loulou and Édéa power stations (source: investir-au-cameroun, read 2026-09-04).
