Former names : Nexttel, Viettel Cameroun

Nexttel (legally Viettel Cameroun S.A.) is Cameroon's third mobile network operator, a joint venture between Vietnam's Viettel and Cameroonian businessman Baba Ahmadou Danpullo. It was awarded the country's third mobile licence in 2012 and launched commercial service under the Nexttel brand in September 2014.
