Sosucam is Cameroon's dominant sugar producer, with sites at Mbandjock, Nkoteng and Lembé-Yezoum. Long controlled by the French agribusiness group Somdiaa, it was the subject, in August 2026, of an agreement to sell Somdiaa's entire 82% stake to a five-member Cameroonian private investor consortium, backed by a pledged €210 million investment.
