Memve’ele hydroelectric dam
A 211 MW-nameplate dam on the Ntem River, built by Chinese firm Sinohydro. Grid- connected since April 2019, it has never sustained its full nameplate capacity because dry-season flow on the Ntem is insufficient; the State committed a further 4 billion FCFA in stabilisation works in February 2026.
