Nachtigal hydroelectric dam
A 420 MW, seven-unit hydropower plant on the Sanaga River, built and run by Nachtigal Hydro Power Company (NHPC), a consortium of EDF (40%), IFC (30%) and the Cameroonian State (30%). All seven turbines are now grid-connected, supplying roughly 30% of the Southern Interconnected Grid's electricity.
