Entrance examination into the Combined Services Military Academy (EMIA)
The entrance competition into the Combined Services Military Academy (EMIA) in Yaoundé trains future officers of the Cameroonian armed forces. Candidates who clear the written papers then go through physical tests and a medical examination before final admission.

- The competition is open to Cameroonian candidates aged 18 to 23 who have completed at least one year of higher education, are in good civic standing and are declared physically fit.

- The application file includes a handwritten request, a birth certificate, the required diplomas and proof of payment of the competition fee to the Ministry of Defence’s human-resources directorate.
