Getting the biometric passport
Online pre-enrolment on passcam.cm, appointment booking, payment, then biometric enrolment at the chosen centre. Fees are displayed on the portal at the time of application.

Who it concerns
Any Cameroonian, in Cameroon or abroad, applying for a first passport or a renewal. The portal is operated by AUGENTIC PassCam SA on behalf of the General Delegation for National Security (DGSN).
Documents to provide
First application by an adult (21 or over) living in Cameroon:
- the receipt printed at pre-enrolment;
- a certified copy of the birth certificate;
- a certified photocopy of the national identity card;
- proof of profession where applicable.
First application for a minor under 15: the pre-enrolment receipt, the certified copy of the birth certificate, a parental authorisation from one parent or the legal guardian, and a certified copy of the parent's or guardian's identity document.
Renewal (expired or damaged passport): the pre-enrolment receipt, the previous passport, a certified photocopy of the ID card and, for applicants under 50, a copy of the birth certificate.
Loss or theft: the pre-enrolment receipt, the declaration of loss or theft stating the passport number, a photocopy of the previous passport and a copy of the ID card.
Steps
- Create an account and complete the application online on passcam.cm.
- Book an appointment at the enrolment centre of your choice.
- Pay the fees before the appointment, as instructed by the portal.
- Attend the centre with the required documents for biometric capture.
- After the DGSN's decision, the passport is produced and delivered as chosen during the application.
Cost and time
The portal states that the fees shown are valid only on the day they are displayed and that the DGSN's decision times are estimates. The exact amount is given to you at pre-enrolment.
