The Treaty of Versailles confirms the partition of Kamerun
Through the Treaty of Versailles signed on 28 June 1919, Germany renounced its Kamerun colony. The British Colonial Secretary, Lord Alfred Milner, and the French Minister for Colonies, Henri Simon, confirmed the Picot line in July, making the partition of the territory between France and the United Kingdom final.
