Greentree Agreement on Nigeria’s withdrawal from Bakassi
On 12 June 2006, Cameroon and Nigeria signed the Greentree Agreement, setting out the practical arrangements for the withdrawal of Nigerian administration and troops from Bakassi ordered by the International Court of Justice, with a two-year transition period during which Nigeria kept its police and civil administration in place.
